Paramore has traveled to Los Angeles to meet with producers, setting the wheels in motion for the band to eventually begin recording their fourth full-length. Check out the update below:

"Well... It's been about 4 months since we've written to you guys. Awkward! But honestly, this "off-time" has set the record for the longest amount of time we've ever spent off since before the couple of weeks we spent making our 1st full length album back in 2005.

Don't kid yourself though. It hasn't been all hangs and no hard work!

What the three of us want you to know is we are headed to Los Angeles next week to meet with a whole mess of really incredible producers. And we are - basically - bringing you along with us to find the one that will help us create our 4th full length album.

So, we're taking a video camera with us to producer meetings, hotel recording sessions, and all of our LA adventures. If you don't know, now you know, next week is a big deal for us and we are psyched to make you a part of it."

Hayley Williams Caught Up In Tornado Scare

5:40 PM Blogger Serabutan 0 Comments

Paramore star Hayley Williams was given a scare on Sunday night (22Jan12) after a tornado warning was issued for her hometown in Tennessee.

The Nashville area has been battered by storms over the weekend (21-22Jan12), and weather experts put a tornado watch in place.

Williams was worried for her safety and in a post on her Twitter.com page in the early hours on Monday morning (23Jan12), she writes, "Right on cue with the tornado warning... Glad I gotta (sic) basement."

But the storm appeared to pass by Williams' home without incident - updating her followers an hour later, she added, "Think the storm finally passed Nashville/Franklin... everyone east of us, stay safe!"

Kristin Chenoweth also reached out to fans, declaring, "Praying for you Nashville. Tornados be gone!"

Paramore singer moved by guitarist's devotion

Paramore's Hayley Williams was moved to tears by guitarist Taylor York's devotion to the group.

The singer was stunned by the shock departure of drummer and guitarist brothers Josh and Zac Farro in December 2010, and initially felt sure Taylor would follow, leaving just her and bassist Jeremy Davis in the group.

She told Alternative Press magazine: "When Josh and Zac were leaving, me and Taylor weren't close at all.

"I was pretty sure that it was just going to be me and Jeremy. I was really scared Taylor was going to leave too."

However, the 'Careful' hitmaker was overjoyed when Taylor approached her and told her he wouldn't give up on the band.

She added: "Me and Taylor went to a show and after we went out to eat and he was like 'You know I'm not ready to go anywhere. I still have more to do in Paramore'.

"And after I just got in my car and cried and then wiped the tears away and thought 'Okay we're going to be all right'."

Josh and Zac were heavily critical of Hayley and the group's management as they left, but have since said they wish the band - which continues as a three piece - well in their career. The brothers have since formed new band Novel American.

Hayley Williams thought Taylor York would quit Paramore

Paramore’s Hayley Williams has revealed that she thought guitarist Taylor York would quit the band last year.

Following the departure of Josh Farro and Zac Farro, who quit the band in December 2010, the frontman said she was sure Taylor would follow in their footsteps.

She told Alt Press: “When Josh and Zac were leaving, me and Taylor weren't close at all at that point.

“Me and Jeremy were always pretty tight through the last few years. But I was pretty sure that it was just going to be me and Jeremy. I was really scared Taylor was going to leave too."

But Hayley then explained that the pair had a good honest chat to clear the air.

She said: "Me and Taylor went to a show in Nashville and after we went out to eat and he was like 'You know I'm not ready to go anywhere. I still have more to do in Paramore'. And after I just got in my car and cried and then wiped the tears away and thought 'Okay we're going to be all right'."

Williams Feared York Would Quit Paramore

Paramore star Hayley Williams has revealed she and Taylor York staged a band summit last year (10) to prevent a split.

Williams founded the cult rock band in 2004 with Jeremy Davis and brothers Zac and Josh Farro and together they welcomed York as an official member in 2009.

The Farro brothers left Paramore in 2010 in a bid to form their own group and Airplanes hitmaker Williams admits their departure prompted concerns about the band's future - because she assumed Taylor would follow suit.

She tells Alternative Press, "When Josh and Zac were leaving, me and Taylor weren't close at all at that point. Me and Jeremy were always pretty tight through the last few years. But I was pretty sure that it was just going to be me and Jeremy. I was really scared Taylor was going to leave too."

However, Williams' worries subsided after the two sat down for an emotional heart-to-heart: "Me and Taylor went to a show in Nashville (Tennessee) and after we went out to eat and he was like, 'You know, I'm not ready to go anywhere. I still have more to do in Paramore.'

"I just got in my car and cried and then wiped the tears away and thought, 'OK, we're going to be all right'."

Paramore's Hayley Williams Was Shocked to Land the Cover of Cosmo

10:02 AM Blogger Serabutan 1 Comments

Paramore singer never asked to be featured on the front of Cosmopolitan

Paramore front woman Hayley Williams is as cute as a doll, but if you ask the singer, she never saw herself as Cosmo material. With that in mind, it’s no shocker that Williams was in disbelief when editors at the glamorous magazine asked her to grace the cover of their May 2011 issue. She’s still pinching herself!

“ … Being on Cosmo is not something I’ve ever strived for,” Williams recently told the Alternative Press. “I never was like, ‘I want to be a Cosmo girl.’ I don’t know if you know me, but I don’t typically care about things like that—even [though] as a girl, I love fashion magazines, I love beauty products. That was a weird thing for me to go through, because I did have to accept, like, ‘Dude. Cosmo magazine just came to me and they were like, ‘You know what? Your band’s kickass, we like you. Come be on our cover.’”

Williams thought it was pretty cool they selected her for the cover, since most of the musicians the magazine features are outside the rock genre. “What other band are they even talking to?” she said. “Other than a pop singer like Rihanna, all the rest of the cover girls this year have been actresses– I remember right before me was Olivia Wilde. [They were] just gorgeous, beautiful women– and I will never put myself in the ranking of those women. It’s not like I have super issues with myself — I definitely am like any other person, I’m self-conscious a lot of times — but I will never put myself on a list of women. But Cosmo did … That was a head trip doing Cosmo, for sure. I’ll never wear those outfits ever again. [Laughs]”
